Photovoltaics
We provide comprehensive advice on all topics related to photovoltaics:
- Technologies and designs
- Sizing and optimisation
- Auto-consumption
- Costs (incl. subsidies) and profitability
- Risks and warranties
- Operation and maintenance
- Additional system components
Our consulting and planning services are based on an established process consisting of five phases:

During the initial consultation, we aim to determine your needs and goals and to examine and explain the possibilities for a photovoltaic solution. We then plan, step-by-step, a customised photovoltaic solution for you and coordinate its implementation. The second planning step consists of a feasibility analysis. Its goal is to clarify all main questions about the project based on a preliminary solution concept, and to provide a basis for the decision on the implementation of a photovoltaic system. Additional system components and solutions, such as battery storage, electric charging solutions or consumer communities will also be taken into consideration.
If you decide to continue the project, the next step will be the preparation of a technical solution concept, for which, subsequently, multiple quotes from proven photovoltaic installers (Solarprofis®) will be requested and compared. Once a contract has been signed with an installer, we will be happy to support you further during all implementation steps and, if desired, supervise the installation works until completion and hand-over. After commissioning of the system, we remain available as a contact partner for questions or problems.

Information about government funding
Since May 2022, the federal government subsidises feasibility and planning studies for photovoltaic systems for municipal buildings in Switzerland. The subsidy usually covers 40% of the project costs. The funding campaign runs until 31 October 2023. Further information can be found on the website of EnergieSchweiz. In addition, photovoltaic systems continue to be subsidised with a one-off subsidy (Einmalvergütung). The current subsidy rates can be found at www.pronovo.ch. We will be happy to also support you at applying for government funding.
